Location:
Cuyahoga Falls, OH Step into a day where your setups shape mission-critical parts for aerospace, defense, automotive, and commercial customers. In our Cuyahoga Falls operation—established in 1945—you'll join a 130-person team running 42 CNC machines (with more on the way) inside a stable, rapidly expanding shop known for long employee tenure, cross-training, and steady overtime. Day in the Life You'll arrive to a low-production run that needs a sharp eye and a steady hand. You'll review blueprints with GD&T callouts, load tooling and fixtures, set work offsets, and prove out a program—editing G-code at the control as needed. First article checks confirm you're on-target; in-process measurements keep you there. When a cut sounds off, you'll dial in feeds, speeds, and offsets to hold tight tolerances. Between jobs, you'll keep machines clean and primed for the next setup—all while building skills across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills. Shifts & Overtime Openings on 1st and 2nd shift Flexible hours; overtime is common Most teammates work 50-60 hours per week What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers Install tooling, fixtures, and set work/tool offsets Load, edit, and prove out CNC programs (G-code) Complete first article inspections and in-process checks using micrometers, calipers, and indicators Tune feeds, speeds, and offsets to sustain tolerance Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues Keep machines clean and perform basic preventative maintenance What You Bring 2-5+ years setting up CNC milling operations Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills Proficiency with precision measurement tools Experience on common controls (Fanuc, Haas, etc.) Comfort editing G-code at the machine Knowledge of tooling, speeds/feeds, and materials (aluminum, steel, plastics) Solid math (trigonometry helpful) High school diploma or trade school credential (preferred) Proficiencies GD&T G-Code M-Code CNC Machine Setup & Changeover Machine Setups for Production Runs Machines You'll Run CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) Benefits PTO Holidays Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Various company events/lunches 401k w/ matching Bonus potential based on individual and company performance Please note this is an ITAR regulated facility.
