We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator with the ability to read a PI tape to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring precision and quality in the production process by operating various machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing tools, and experience working in a fast-paced factory environment. Your expertise will contribute directly to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety across our production lines. Duties Operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming to produce precise components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and PI tapes accurately to ensure correct measurements and dimensions. Set up, calibrate, and maintain machinery such as stamping presses, press brake machines, flexo presses, and fabrication equipment. Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions during production. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine inspections of machinery for proper operation; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Support quality control processes by inspecting finished parts for adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Assist with assembly line tasks, fabrication, tooling setup, welding, and packaging as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and measurements for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on machine operation. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and PI tapes confidently. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, and flexo presses. Knowledge of machining techniques including CAM programming and CNC programming. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, tooling setup, welding, and materials handling. Ability to use hand tools effectively within an assembly line environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for machining tasks. Strong understanding of quality control standards including GD&T principles. Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory safety protocols is preferred. Valid forklift certification is a plus.
