This would be for 2nd shift. Training would be on 1st shift.
Hours:
Monday-Friday-5:00PM-3:30AM Mill Viper Operator Job Description A Mill Viper Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining a Viper milling machine used to machine, cut, shape, or finish metal components according to production specifications. The operator ensures quality standards, productivity goals, and safety requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate Viper milling equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications. Load and unload materials and workpieces safely and efficiently. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to speeds, feeds, tooling, and machine settings as required. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments. Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes. Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing guidelines. Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S and housekeeping practices. Work closely with supervisors, quality personnel, and production team members to meet production goals. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or machining experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings. Knowledge of measuring equipment and quality inspection procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and dependability.
