Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clevis-Pin Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that produces precision clevis pins and related fasteners. Your expertise will help ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our production processes.

What is expected:

A successful candidate will routinely set-up and run multiple machines simultaneously and ensure that the parts produced adhere to all specifications designated on blueprints. They will clean, maintain, and dress up tooling needed for the equipment they operate. They will also troubleshoot and fix problems that occur when setting up jobs as well as partner effectively with Engineering to alter tooling designs to improve efficiency. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor index drilling machines to produce clevis pins according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and gages to inspect parts for accuracy and quality. Read and interpret technical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) symbols, and manufacturing drawings to ensure proper fabrication. Perform routine maintenance on machinery Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications; document findings accurately. Operate dollies and forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility. Collaborate with team members on production tasks and tooling adjustments to optimize work flow.

Requirements:

o Must be willing and able to work 40+ hours per week and rotating shifts. These shifts include, but are not limited to:

M-F:

7AM-3PM, 9AM-5PM, 1PM-9PM, 3PM-11PM Overtime & Saturday shifts scheduled as needed o Punctual and dependable. Tardiness and call-offs are unacceptable and do not meet Brainard Rivet's standard. o Mechanical aptitude is a must o Must be proficient with basic tools such as wrenches, tape measures, screw drivers, and hex-key wrenches. o Must be able to read and navigate basic blueprints o Must be able lift, pull and push 100lbs o Must be able to multitask and troubleshoot multiple machines routinely o A minimum of (1) year of forklift experience o Must have proven basic math skills o An advanced understanding of manufacturing and metal working o Must be able to efficiently work independently. o Someone who is a self-starter and carries an ownership mindset o Ability to record, document, and track data on a routine basis o Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED o Must be able to pass random drug screen(s) and criminal background checks What we offer: o Medical and dental insurance with 100% of premiums paid for by Brainard Rivet for employee, spouse, and family o Vision insurance 100% premium paid for employee only o Prescription coverage with $15 co-pay for generics and $60 co-pay for brand names o Employer paid retirement plan— 15% of annual earnings paid into employee stock program by Brainard Rivet o Biannual dividends on employee stock paid after 1st year of employment o Optional 401k, 401M and Roth 401k are available o Quarterly profit-sharing bonuses As Employee Owners, when the company benefits, so do we!
