RESPONSIBILITIESOperate heating equipment such as flame-hardening machines, induction machines, soaking pits, and heat-treating furnacesRead and follow production schedules and work orders to determine requirementsEstablish processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycle specificationsMaintain records that parts are removed from the heat at specified temperatures and timesOperate die-quenching machines that prevent warpingInspect product for quality and damagesComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plusAbility to stand for long periodsWork in various weather and temperature conditionsEngage in repetitive motions including bending, squatting, pushing, and pullingAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsStrong communication and collaboration skillsBasic math skillsSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
