Equipment Operator I (Nights)

Scope of Responsibility:

Safe operation of an overhead crane and squaring press.

Essential Duties:

Daily inspection and monitoring of operating equipmentConstant communication with Team Lead on daily tasksSafe handling and operation within designated departmentAble to read a tape measure and utilize a pressLoad and unload trailers with proper technique safelyMaintaining product flow efficiency within their designated departmentAdditional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Regular and timely attendance is requiredPrior experience of overhead bridge crane operation preferredHave basic math skills and able to use basic measuring devices (i.e. tape measure and micrometers)Ability to use manual hand tools (i.e. wrenches and clamps)Work in a team environmentGood verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
