As Laser Operator at Laserflex, a part of Ryerson Family of companies, you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our flat laser cutting machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (Trumpf)
  • Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished product using forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment and designated work area
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
