Job Description

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator II We're looking for dependable Machine Operator II's to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll operate specialized machinery used in the production of high-quality products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. We offer competitive pay , with an additional shift differential available for overnight shifts , along with opportunities to develop valuable manufacturing, machining, and equipment operation skills. Job Duties Operate one or more manufacturing machines and production systems, including: Fin Press Fin Power Brake Press Vertical and Horizontal Expanders Overhead Crane Hairpin Machine Pemset Equipment Riveting Machines Spot Welding Equipment Gasket Machines Paint Systems EBE Bender P4 Bender PIV Equipment Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications Read and interpret production instructions and work orders Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and material handling as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned Tools & Equipment Used Basic mechanic's tool set Ratchets Wrenches Air tools Pliers Hammers Adjustable wrenches Screwdrivers Channel locks Tape measures Manual calipers Digital calipers Requirements Mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to safety Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure Ability to use manual and digital calipers to inspect parts Ability to perform basic math, including two- and three-decimal calculations Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required Physical & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Ability to push, pull, squat, stoop, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment Hands may become dry or wet due to the use of evaporative oils and production materials Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
