Join the Schneller production team as a Press Operator, where you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our press operations running smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to build a career in manufacturing — you'll learn the equipment, the processes, and the quality standards that make our products stand out.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Set up and assist with operation of the press under the direction of the department Leader Retrieve materials from the dry room/cut room and transport to the press using a tow motor Read work order tickets (WOT) and build product; accordingly, assist the Operator with loading the press Unload the cooling rack and transfer materials to worktables Perform in-process quality inspections and collect required QC test samples Ticket and mark in-process and raw materials before leaving the department Place finished and raw materials into designated storage areas Operate auxiliary equipment as required by plant operations Report product quality issues, maintenance needs, and safety concerns to the department Leader Keep your work area and equipment clean and organized to support quality and safety Complete all required records — inventory control, time sheets, productivity logs, and daily logs Follow all safety procedures and wear required safety equipment at all timesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math Basic computer skills Willingness to learn equipment operation, safety procedures, and work instructions Ability to operate a tow motor safely (training may be provided) Reliable attendance and ability to follow both oral and written instructions Must be eligible for any required US government authorizations (ITAR 120.15 / EAR Part 772)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active, on-your-feet role in an industrial environment.You should be able to:
Stand for 8-10 hours per day Move safely throughout an industrial facility Lift up to 50 pounds Bend, crouch, grip (up to 36 lbs with a 2" opening), and roll material up to 12 feet in lengthShift:
