Machine Technician

Position Summary The Machine Technician is responsible for overseeing the operation of G3 Packaging's tighthead machinery. The Machine Technician ensures machines are running at their most efficient level and problem solves when issues arise. Machine Technicians oversee the entire production process, including managing the pack line and its employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Manage production lines and their employees
• Complete accurate records of required shift paperwork
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on machinery
• Oversee daily Quality Tests
• Warehouse Organization
• Assist with shipping and receiving Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience - blow mold experience a plus
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals effectively

• Standing and/or walking for entire scheduled shift (8-12 hours)
