Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a Koike CNC plasma cutting table to produce high quality parts from carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and other metals in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate a Koike CNC plasma cutting table to cut steel, stainless, and aluminum according to specifications. Safely load and unload heavy plate materials using overhead cranes and forklifts. Select appropriate consumables and mantain consumable inventories. Perform routine machine maintenance, including table cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Monitor material inventories and maintain an inventory of plate remnants. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. Requirements Prior experience operating CNC plasma tables, burn tables, or similar CNC cutting equipment. Experience with material hadling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work i a physically demanding environment. Previous welding or fabricattion shop experience. Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
