Machine Operator Trainee Reports To:
Plant Manager Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. About the Role We're excited to offer an opportunity to join our Production team as a Machine Operator Trainee . This is a great entry-level position for someone looking to learn, grow, and build a career in manufacturing. You'll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You'll Learn & Do With guidance and training, you will gradually learn how to: Set up machines and prepare them for production Mix and thin compounds according to job requirements Fill and monitor the coating head during machine operation Wind up material at the back end of the machine Monitor and inspect materials to identify defects Work closely with Production Management, Quality Management, and R&D teams Enter production data into the company ERP system Provide daily updates to the Plant Manager and Quality Manager Help oversee the work center area and maintain a clean, safe environment Assist with planning raw materials and preparing for upcoming jobs What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent A positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable work history and willingness to learn Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Must be able to pass background check and drug test Work Environment Hands-on production/manufacturing setting Why You'll Like Working Here Four-day workweek —enjoy three-day weekends every week On-the-job training and skill development Supportive team environment with room to grow
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
