Responsibilities:
Operate cutting machines and production equipment to process materials according to customer specifications and production requirements. Verify material size, finish, and accuracy to ensure quality standards are met. Package finished products according to customer requirements and prepare materials for shipment. Pull, stage, and organize raw materials and feedstock for production orders. Load and unload trucks as needed using forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes. Move materials throughout the facility using material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Complete shipping, receiving, and production paperwork accurately. Conduct daily pre-start inspections of equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns. Lift, carry, and move materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Successfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement Minimum 2 years of similar job experience preferred Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training Willingness to be trained on overhead cranes and forklifts (experience is a plus). PPE Company will supply Cintas uniforms after two weeks, laundered, and returned by Cintas. Must wear long pants, steel-toe boots with metatarsal guards.
