(Hale and or HPC) is a family-owned/locally owned business with more than 90 years of operations. We provide metal surface finishing services to our customers. Hale offers various types of plating to its customers depending on their specific needs. Hale is currently experiencing significant growth in its operations and is currently seeking qualified candidates to assist our team in providing high quality service to our customers.
Position Title:
P roduction Associate in the Mold Shop Position Summary :
Hale is seeking to hire several full-time 1st shift Production Associates to fill openings in our Chrome and Nickel plating . The primary responsibility of the position is to prep products to get them ready for plating. Some of the prep work could entail sandblasting, masking and or grinding, polishing. We build anodes around the molds and dies before the chrome plating process. An anode is hand build net that entails wire mesh, soft wire, supports bar affixed with nuts and bolts. Use of a variety of tools and equipment such as: Plasma cutter MIG welder break press hand-held grinder and polishers wrenches, pliers, cutters, files, striking tools, struck or hammered tools, screwdrivers, vises, clamps, snips, hacksaws, drills, and knives . Operate an over-head crane All HPC Associates are expected to follow the coating procedures as trained, in a safe manner, while meeting the quality requirements outlined by the customer. A qualified candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area in order to efficiently meet production schedules to provide a high-quality service to our customers. Most local candidates do not have experience in the industry of metal coatings. We are looking for candidates who communicate well, are trainable and have at least 3-5 years of work history with their previous employers, eager to learn and have perfect attendance record. High school diploma / GED or equivalent Experience:
Excellent attendance record Previous working experience in automotive repair, construction or welding is preferred Working knowledge of various hand tools Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair•Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate work Willingness to learn and to take on new challenges Strong analytical and problem solving skills Detail oriented Well organized and task focused Strong verbal communication skills Strong work ethic Self-starter Skills:
