The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying metal coatings to various components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Duties Operate plating equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures. Assemble and fabricate components as needed for plating processes. Utilize hand tools and power tools to prepare surfaces for plating. Conduct quality inspections of plated items to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the factory or warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and production goals. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemicals and machinery. Assist in the operation of forklifts for material handling when necessary. Skills Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the plating process. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification may be required). Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
