R&D Extrusion Technician

1000089 Films Business Unit Description Peak Nano is looking for an extrusion technician to work in our R&D group. The key responsibilities of the job are as follows: Support film extrusion equipment set-up and operation Troubleshooting Providing recommendations and implementing solutions to resolve equipment and/or process problems in a timely manner Help develop processing parameters for multilayer films Ensure machines are functional and safe to operate Report safety problems immediately and operate equipment safely Write and revise SOPs Perform 5S activities Perform all material handling functions (raw materials and finished goods)

Required Qualifications Education:

High school diploma/GED or 5+ years' experience in manufacturing Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary; remain standing/walking for extended periods of time 1+ years of experience in plastics processing Ability to ensure compliance with quality systems, policies, procedures, and practices, and all local, state, federal, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports Excellent verbal and good written communication skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to perform basic math and measurements, and to gauge parts if needed Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

US Citizenship Preferred Qualifications Education:
