For example:
Labels Cartons Trays Conduct PPE compliance audits throughout the shift to ensure all safety requirements are followed Assists Packaging Operators as needed to ensure a smooth workflow Setup and operate multiple types of packaging equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to: carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters, top closers, palletization equipment Lead assigned rework operations as the Packaging Operator, auditing processes throughout the shift to ensure procedural compliance and accurate paperwork completion. Ensures labels correctly match the product in facilities where manual labeling is required Manage and assign break schedule for packers Support troubleshooting and training initiatives for Packers Audit packer standard work and completion Audit packer quality checks and completionPerformance Metrics:
Completion of staffing report for packer staff Completion of package paperwork Updated and completion of packer training documentationEfficiency Competencies:
Ensures Accountability Decision Quality Communicates Effectively Instills Trust Collaborates Values Differences Drives Results Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Min. 6 months of Packaging Operator experience preferred Some lead experience preferred Good mechanical skills Capable of lifting 25 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneouslyPhysical Demands:
