Packaging Operator

Packaging Operator FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt Report to: Packaging Team Leader Speed North America is seeking motivated individuals who exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow for our expanding operations for 1st and 2nd shift (2nd shift differential pay). We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Responsibilities and functions, but not limited to: Operate and assist in day-to-day team operations ensuring effective communication with his/her team leader. Ability to follow OSHA and SPEED safety guidelines. Able and willing to follow instructions. Proper start up and shutdown of packaging lines. Proper set up of equipment to ensure quality of product.

Skill/Abilities:

Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to stand for long periods of time, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail occasional bending and stooping. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment/Conditions:

Wear safety attire or protective gear daily. Working indoors, plant temperatures can become warm in the summer. Manufacturing environment with associated noise levels.
