Responsibilities Assist with the setup and operation of bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and binding machines to prepare printed materials for final finishing. Support the assembly and finishing of printed products, including saddle stitching, perfect binding, and trimming. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring color accuracy, proper layout, and overall product integrity using skills in color management and layout design. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in manufacturing operations. Collaborate with prepress teams to verify print specifications and ensure alignment with client expectations. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies like paper stock, adhesives, and binding materials. Qualifications Basic knowledge of print processes including screen printing, prepress preparation, and print advertising techniques. Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Strong attention to detail for quality control checks on printed materials. Good understanding of typography, layout design, and color management principles. Willingness to learn new skills related to machining, CNC operations, or other bindery equipment as needed.
