Job Description

As a Machine Helper, you'll play a key role in keeping our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. You'll support the Machine Operator with setup, monitoring quality, maintaining pace, and troubleshooting as needed. Your teamwork and attention to detail help ensure our recycled paper is turned into high-quality corrugated board that meets customer expectations.
Shift:
2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
Starting Pay:
$17.00/hour - Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.

What You'll DoAssist the Machine Operator with setup and operation of slotting, feeding, and die-cutting equipmentMonitor board quality and report defects such as loose liner, warp, or incorrect dimensionsSort product as needed to help maintain machine productivityWork at the pace set by the Machine Operator and support adherence to the production scheduleCross-train on other machines and be willing to move into Operator roles when neededComplete production-related paperwork accurately and on timeSubmit maintenance requests and proactively care for equipmentFollow all company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipWho You AreYou're dependable and show up ready to work every dayYou can read and follow work orders and production instructions in EnglishYou're able to use a tape measure and apply basic high school-level mathYou're observant and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to product qualityYou're willing to learn, cross-train, and grow into new rolesYou work well in a team environment and follow directions consistentlyYou're detail-oriented and care about doing things the right wayYou're eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team's successPreferred qualifications: Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting. What to Expect on the JobYou'll be on your feet for most of you shift.
