Operate forklifts, manipulate materials and finished goods, supply production, load and un-load trucks. Perform other duties as per request within agreed job competences. Responsibilities Operates a forklift or other lifting devices to transport, load, unload product and materials around the plant. Preparation of goods for shipment in advance based upon issued documents. Assists in receiving, checking, documenting, and storing incoming products Assists in conducting physical inventories Perform routine equipment servicing/control, such as attaching a battery charger and checking for safety of operations. Responsible for the receipt, recording, and disbursement of materials and supplies. Loading bay to be kept tidy and in good condition. Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions. Use PPE and safety equipment as required. Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately. Participate in safety training and drills. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards. Qualifications, Education, and Experience Experience in a manufacturing environment. Forklift certified Skills and Competencies Responsible and reliable Capable and willing to follow procedures
