Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Packaging Technician is responsible for accurately packaging roasted coffee and related products according to Topeca Coffee standards. This role supports production flow by ensuring finished goods are prepared, labeled, andstaged correctly for downstream use while maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. The Packaging Technician plays a key role in product integrity and production efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Packaging & Labeling- Package roasted coffee and related products according to established specifications.
- Apply correct labels, dates, and batch information.
- Verify weights, seals, and packaging quality. Production Support & Flow
- Stage finished goods appropriately for next steps.
- Support production schedules and volume requirements.
- Communicate packaging issues or shortages promptly. Quality, Safety & Cleanliness
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized packaging and storage areas.
- Identify and report quality concerns. Documentation & Teamwork
- Accurately complete packaging logs and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with production and roasting teams.
- Follow direction from production leadership. Performance Expectations
- Accurate and consistent packaging execution

Required Qualifications:
- Previous production or packaging experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow SOPs and instructions
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Production and warehouse environment
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Repetitive motions associated with packaging tasks
Schedule & Availability:
- Full-time or part-time, hourly position
- On-site presence required
