Schedule:
Day Shift (6:00am - 4:30pm), with transition to swing shift after training This is a temp-to-hire position. Full Job Description We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company seeking a reliable Extruder Operator . This role is responsible for operating extrusion equipment, handling materials, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced production environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in manufacturing with hands-on training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, clean, and maintain extrusion dies for production use Operate extrusion machines (2 1/2" and 4") and monitor output Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for production lines Assemble and disassemble extruder heads as needed Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently Monitor conveyor systems and coiling procedures Use measuring tools and calibrated equipment to ensure product quality Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required Ability to read, write, and understand English Ability to interpret basic drawings and work instructions Comfortable working in a physical environment (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive movement) Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in conditions with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
