Job Description Summary This position requires constant monitoring of the batter system and the ability to operate and troubleshoot the batter and condiment equipment.Job Description Job Responsibilities:
- Understands how to look up QA Specifications for batter and condiment
- Understands product codes and labels on batter and condiment tickets and how to use manifest to track inventory.
- Safely opens, handles and hangs batter bags.
- Monitors and adjust sugar mix tank concentration as required.
- Monitors and adds condiment to the formed line hopper when needed.
- Maintains dry batter hopper and auger levels as needed.
- Assembles/Disassemble batter equipment when needed.
- Communicates problems to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains expected level of sanitation in work area.
- Fills out paperwork as required.
- Understands chemicals and the hazards associated with the processing area.
- Performs assigned duties during cut changes and defrost as required.
- Cleans under and around batter and sugar mix areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic & Preferred Qualifications Position Requirements:
Education/ Certifications:
(Required & Preferred)- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required.
Skills and Experience:
- Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).
- Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.
- Ability to perform basic math functions, required.
