Job Description Summary The inside receiving operator operates and adjusts all inside receiving equipment for smooth and productive operations; monitors product sizing, lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs, and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader. Job Description Include the following. (Other duties may be assigned): Maintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs. Responsible for proper handling of raw product throughout the receiving area. Inventories volumes of raw product. Operates equipment and makes adjustments as needed. Maintains even lineflow. Monitors and maintains product quality and attributes.

Communicates with other personnel:

line status, quality, and other problems. Must understand function and hazards of various cleaning chemicals, and must be able to perform various product testing procedures. Must be able to work independently. Shoveling product spills. Completes production forms as required. Enters information into the computer and utilizes process control equipment to control product flow. Monitor in-line magnets. Maintains water quality by cleaning strainers.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Sanitation of area. Breaking of other areas. Performs weekend cleanup as assigned.
