Job Description

Anthology Woods is seeking a Production Lead. Anthology Woods specializes in reclaimed and sustainable wood products including wood flooring, wall paneling, and fabricated components. This position is part of our Production Team. Responsibilities may include primary processing of reclaimed wood materials (de-nailing, trimming, sorting, etc), milling finished wood products (ripping, resawing, molding and sanding) and finishing using various wood finish products. Responsibilities also include occasional fabrication (tables, box beams, counter-tops, etc), shipping via LTL freight, and sample production. We are seeking candidates with knowledge of wood, wood-product manufacturing and related equipment, wood finishing, shipping, and forklift use. Experience with molder operation, gang-rip, resaw, wide-belt sander, planers, glue-ups, basic construction and wood finishing preferred. We are willing to train the right person, but ultimately are looking for someone to operate our molder, gang-rip and resew, and actively manage production of product. This is a production position in a fast paced environment, with production goals and deadlines. We are looking for a self-starter, and independent worker who can provide leadership and instruction to others if needed. Prior demonstrated experience in a cabinet shop, carpentry, woodworking or manufacturing preferred. A positive attitude and strong work-ethic are valued. Proficiency in math and wood measurement are required, as well as knowledge of woodworking machinery. This is a full-time position. Starting wage is dependent upon experience. All employees are subject to a 60 day training period. There are opportunities for advancement and wage increases over time.
