As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for supporting daily production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment. You'll collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and uphold safety protocols. What You'll Do As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for: Operating and monitoring plastic manufacturing machinery to optimize efficiency and output. Setting up equipment before production begins, adjusting settings during shifts, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime. Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality and consistency standards; reporting any equipment malfunctions immediately. Reviewing job orders to verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications for accurate production. Ensuring labels match job requirements and products are accurately transferred throughout the warehouse. Assembling boxes and safely stacking products on pallets for shipping or storage. Completing Production Verification sheets at the start and end of your shift and submitting them to your supervisor. Strictly following safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a secure work environment. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace to support safety and productivity. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or equivalent, or prior manufacturing-related experience. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new equipment functions quickly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Safety training or familiarity with safety protocols. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods comfortably.
