Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual to fill an open position at our mill in Noti, Oregon. The role of this position will be to maintain the log yard, log decks, feed the mill and unload trucks.
Main duties will include:
Operate log loader -Unload log trucks, feed mill, deck logs. Operate shovel, high-deck logs. Maintain irrigation in yard and on log decks. Split oversized logs. Scan logs for metal. Re man logs as needed. Operate a chainsaw. Record log usage.
Other duties may include:
Assisting the Forester on projects outside the log yard on Company held properties. Help out in the truck shop as needed. Drive a Company vehicle. Measure logs accurately for volume purposes. This is a full-time position. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Some Saturdays will be required as well as overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401K.
