Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Kitchen Mustard Batch Maker, where your energy and precision will help produce high-quality mustard products that delight consumers. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and processing mustard batches in accordance with strict food safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure our production line runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional food products to markets worldwide. Duties Measure and combine ingredients accurately following established recipes and production specifications Operate manufacturing equipment such as mixers, kettles, and packaging machinery with mechanical knowledge and safety awareness Monitor the mixing process to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning equipment and work areas regularly, following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines Document batch records meticulously, including ingredient quantities, process parameters, and quality checks Assist in packaging finished mustard products securely for distribution while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations Conduct routine inspections of the production line to identify potential issues and support food safety initiatives Lift up to 50lbs frequently Skills Strong understanding of food safety standards, including
HACCP, FDA
regulations, and GMP practices Experience in food processing or manufacturing environments within the food industry Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting processing equipment Knowledge of sanitation procedures essential for maintaining a clean food production plant Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing batch calculations Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling raw materials or finished goods Familiarity with packaging processes and quality control measures in a food processing plant Basic computer skills Must be able to read, write and understand English This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced food production environment where your skills directly contribute to delivering safe, high-quality mustard products.
