NW Industrial - 2.3 Springfield, OR Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Teamwork Machine operation Moving Manufacturing facility Manufacturing Full Job Description NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a family-owned company in Springfield that specializes in manufacturing fittings and accessories for the construction and building materials industry. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity for an individual interested in entering the manufacturing industry.
What we are seeking:
1+ year of continuous work experience. (In a manufacturing setting, experience preferred.) A keen eye for detail to see if finished parts look appropriate. The ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8-hour shift. The ability to lift 50 lbs. to put metal coils onto the machine. Teamwork and great communication skills are required. The ability to practice safety and be a conscientious worker by observing the machine to make sure it is operating smoothly. Ability to keep the work environment neat.
