Troutdale, OR 12-hour dayshift, 6am - 6pm. 4 days on, 3 days off one week, and 3 days on, 4 days off the next

Job Summary:

The Operator is based at Bell and Howell's remote service location and will report directly to the District Service Manager for that location. This position has overall responsibility for setting up and operating a variety of machines and/or equipment at customer site(s) in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

Operates production equipment including but not limited to printers, binders, and trimmers. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Ensures operational requirements are met in the set-up operation and the use of customer equipment and related product materials. Communicates with team and escalates issues when equipment is not working properly.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

N/A Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities): Requires understanding of computer program functionality and software. Ability to accomplish the describe duties per the production schedule for the customer. Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to understand, remember and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work as an integral part of a team. Ability to read and understand written procedures and diagrams for production workflow. Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual.

Education and Experience:
