Saw Operator

Job Description We are immediately hiring a full-time Saw Operator for our local crate manufacturing facility. Position Overview As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for cutting dimensional lumber to precise specifications used in building high-quality crates and pallets. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate saws and woodworking equipment to cut lumber to required lengths and dimensions Read and follow cut lists and production orders Perform quality checks on cut materials Maintain a clean and safe work area Handle and move heavy lumber bundles Stand for extended periods during shifts

Requirements:

Previous saw or woodworking experience is preferred but not required - we will train motivated candidates Forklift experience is a plus; we will train if needed Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long hours Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable transportation (this is a must) Dependable with a strong work ethic Must be able to work full-time daytime hours
