Machine Operator Job Description The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting silicone coating, converting, and packaging equipment. This role includes tasks such as start-up/shutdowns, changeovers, inspections, packaging, and small preventative maintenance. Responsibilities Run and monitor reactors, mixers, and automated systems following established procedures. Perform inspections, measurements, and documentation to verify product specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Follow chemical-handling rules, PPE requirements, and environmental standards. Record production data, equipment checks, and process deviations accurately. Essential Skills Experience in packaging and machine operating. Previous experience as a Manufacturing Technician or Cleanroom Technician. Proficiency in batch work, mixing, compounding, blending, batch mixing, and assembly. Ability to troubleshoot effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
