Machine Operator - 1st shift Corry, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22481840 Summary Corry, PA In-Person $14.50 per Hour 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience with equipment such as PEM machines, punch presses, lasers, and press brakes. In this role, you will help keep production running smoothly by operating machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production machinery following established procedures. Set up, adjust, and prepare machines for specific jobs. Manufacture parts and components according to technical specifications. Perform basic machine maintenance to prevent downtime. Work closely with team members to solve problems and improve processes. Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized. Qualifications Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate PEM machines, punch presses, lasers, and press brakes. Understanding of assembly processes and production workflow. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Solid math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in various units of measure. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good problem-solving skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs. Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods. Flexibility to work different shifts, including early/late hours, weekends, or overtime as needed.
