SHERIDANHANOVER, PADIGITAL PRINT
SHIPPER1st Shift (8:00am - 4:00pm)Job SummaryPrepare, sort, label and ship POD orders sent through the company shipping system. Will also utilize automated shrink-wrapping equipment at times.Basic Qualifications:
Good organizational, time-management and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word applicationsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility and willingness to work overtime as requiredHigh School Diploma or GEDFrequent kneeling, stooping Frequent turning, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing is requiredSchedule:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. 1st shift: 8am - 4pm2nd shift : 4pm - 12am (considered)Shift premium: 8% of base pay paid on all hours worked on 2nd shiftDuties/Responsibilities:
Wrap, label, sort and secondary pack journal orders to customer and vendor requirementsPrep, sort and carton pack book orders according to customer and vendor requirementsOperate automated and manual shrink-wrapping equipment to production standards and quality Accurately communicate to other co-workers the status of orders being processedAnalyze and interpret print-on-demand sheets as well as label ship codes to thoroughly understand the requirements of each customer orderDemonstrate a working knowledge of shipping software and postal scalesCross train to function as a backup on other digital equipment (ie, trimmer, magnum)Complete all necessary paperwork, process and ship customer products in a timely fashionMaintain accurate record keeping on TSP timesheets, excel spreadsheets and all related digital systems Constantly monitor quality of finished product to ensure customer's satisfactionOperate hand jack, three-hole drill and assist in bindery/finishing areas as neededAssist with housekeeping in the POD shipping areaPerforms other duties as assigned.What's in it for YOU?On-the-job training programs through Sheridan Academy.
