Job Description
Industrial Manufacturing Equipment Operator Join The Perryman Company in Houston, PA and help keep production moving. In this role, you'll rotate through morning, afternoon, and midnight shifts, collaborating with a team that values safety, precision, and reliability. A day in the life Your shift begins with a safety huddle and a plan. You'll stage materials, operate industrial equipment, and keep machines running smoothly. Between production runs, you'll complete basic preventive checks and keep your area orderly so the next operator can hit the ground running. What you'll handle Take part in daily production activities to meet schedule and quality expectations. Load and unload equipment using forklifts, overhead cranes, and manual handling. Move and stage materials for processing to maintain steady workflow. Perform routine preventive maintenance as required. Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift and at close. Preferred:
1-3 months of related experience/training or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, midnight). Comfort bending, stooping, and standing for 8 to 12 hours per day. Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.Solid basic math skills:
add, subtract, multiply, divide (whole numbers, fractions, decimals) and compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Accurate data entry skills using a computer.Preferred:
experience with overhead cranes; preferred: forklift experience; preferred: using a micrometer. Willingness to work in areas that may involve exposure to extreme heat.Why Perryman My Pay:
