Filler Operator

The Galliker Dairy Company, headquartered in Johnstown PA since 1914, has an immediate opening for a Filler Operator in our Bottling supply area. The Galliker Dairy Company is a major Mid-Atlantic dairy processor and distributor of Milk, Iced Tea, and Ice Cream products. EOE/AA E-Verify Summary of primary functions: The person filling this position has the primary responsibility of packaging milk products, ice cream mixes, drinks, juices, etc in preparation for loadingshipping. Essential duties performed on a regular basis include but are not limited to: Maintain "inspection ready" environment in and around Filling area. Properly operatechange over fillershrink bundler (caser) in a productive yet efficient manner to produce Clean, Fresh, Defect Free packaged product while minimizing waste. Accuratelytimely based on daily run, communicate with pasteurizer and other filler operators as to product sequence and quantities in an effort to reduce productcontainer loss. Ensure proper code is placed on package, proper product is placed in package, as well as capslabels used to identify package are correct. Taste product, pull samples for the lab upon start up (or as designated) to ensure that the product being run is within regulations.
