- Pay starting at $20hr Job Description The Production Operator is a key member of the manufacturing team responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to produce high-quality materials.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role ensures production goals are met while following strict quality, safety, and security standards. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to accurately document production activity. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment, including inspection systems and die cutters. Run production machinery to meet quality standards and production schedules. Monitor production progress and communicate issues affecting output or timelines. Handle materials safely, including loading, staging, and moving throughout the process. Complete paperwork and enter accurate data into MRP systems for all production activities. Essential Skills Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specs, and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail for inspection, labeling, and documentation accuracy. Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills for equipment and process issues.
