  • Role Overview:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial-sized embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products. Immediate start is available.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation and Maintenance:
  • Set up and operate industrial embroidery machines (e.g., Barudan) to create designs on various garments and textiles.
  • Load digitized designs, ensure correct thread colors, and adjust machine settings.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on embroidery machines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oiling, lint control, and minor repairs.
  • Maintain proper threading and tension control of machines.
Production Process:
  • Read work orders to identify correct designs, placements, and materials.
  • Prepare garments/textiles by hooping and securing them on the machine.
  • Monitor machine operation to detect defects and notify the Manager of any malfunctions.
  • Perform sewing operations as per drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Repair defective embroidery, trim loose threads, and remove backing.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
Quality Control:
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform quality inspections on all outgoing orders.
  • Pack finished goods for shipping and complete the inspection process for all materials.
Production Support Activities:
  • Record all material and time transactions, maintaining accurate work-in-progress inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Promote safety and healthy practices in the performance of position duties.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled team and cross-functional meetings.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with a strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Previous embroidery experience is required.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities while remaining focused.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Knowledge of digitizing software (Melco DesignShop) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods (6-8 hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
