Sheet Extrusion Operator Details:

Contract to Hire position $26.00 /hour Third Shift (Monday through Friday) We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Sheet Extrusion Operator to join our 3rd Shift Sheet Extrusion Department. This role is ideal for individuals with prior extrusion experience; however, we also welcome candidates who are new to extrusion but demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment. Operate and monitor sheet extrusion equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and shutdowns according to production requirements Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical or process issues Troubleshoot mechanical or process-related problems and escalating issues as needed Maintain consistent product quality by monitoring gauges, controls, and output Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines Accurately document production data, process parameters, and shift activities

Sheet Extrusion Operator Qualifications:

Prior experience with plastic sheet extrusion or related extrusion processes (preferred but not required) Background in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, thermoforming, or similar environments Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical systems Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
