Job Description

Job Summary:
The Batcher is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate execution of all ingredient instructions and requirements for production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Understand & execute all batching paperwork and related processes.
  • Coordinate, monitor, perform all pre-batching and batching functions required to properly execute published formulations.
  • Blend ingredients according to procedure sheet and proper steps to mix product according to specification and instructions.
  • Record all steps, check sample to make sure requirements have been met.
  • Record all lot numbers, testing results and have supervisor sign off to transfer product.
  • Maintain accurate records including batch sheets, test results, inventory counts.
  • Tear down and clean work area according to established procedures when shift is complete.
  • Adhere to all PPE, CCP, and GMP standards.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
