Full Job Description Description:
The Wide Format Operator is responsible for producing high‑quality large‑format printed materials using wide‑format printers and finishing equipment. This role supports daily production in a fast‑paced commercial print environment and ensures jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Job duties as listed but not limited to:
  • Effective Communication o With the Production Manager regarding daily production schedule. o With the Sales Team to collaborate on best options for successful outcomes.
  • Efficient Operations o Operate wide‑format printers (latex, solvent, UV, or similar) to produce posters, banners, signs, decals, and other large‑format products.
o Prepare print files, verify artwork accuracy, and ensure proper color, sizing, and layout. o Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, laminating, mounting, and grommeting. o Inspect output for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed. o Maintain equipment, perform routine cleaning, and report service needs. o Manage materials such as media rolls, inks, and substrates. o Follow job tickets, production schedules, and shop procedures. o Ability to handle small installations.
Education, Skills, Experience Desired:
  • Minimum High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Outstanding attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve.
  • Experience with wide‑format printing equipment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of print production and finishing processes.
  • Ability to read job specs and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to lift media rolls and handle physical tasks.
  • Outstanding time‑management and communication skills.
Pay:
$20.00
