Job Description

Due to expansion and demand, our client a stable and growing plastics manufacturing company seeks a Day Shift
  • Machine Saw Operator.
Must have excellent mathematical skills with ability and willingness to work with little supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
  • The saw operator is responsible for operating the saw to accurately and efficiently cut material specified by work orders.
Cut plastic stock to correct length and measurements. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Maintain accurate records and material documentation including the completion and submission of accurate paperwork. Maintains equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times. Maintains daily 6S duties. Performs basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment. Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and appropriate PPE.
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:
High School Education or equivalent. 1-year experience in a similar role. Ability to dimension material thickness and part dimensions accurately. Read and understand blueprints and work orders. Basic math skills required. Proficiency in using all measuring tools. Prioritize, schedule, and review work. Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment. Pay
