MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

This position ensures that assigned machines/equipment produce product at or above department standards. Responsible to produce, assemble, inspect and pack all parts as per the work instructions for each assigned task or machine. Maintain all required paperwork and documentation to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and

ISO 13485

standards.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ATTENDANCE IS PARAMOUNT.

All associates are required to report to their scheduled shift on time and work their entire shift. 4. Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards coworkers and the company. Gossip, hearsay, and/or slander is not tolerated nor accepted at our plant. 5. Operate machines, maintaining productivity, efficiency, and product quality. 6. Work safely 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures. 8. Perform visual inspection and testing to ensure all products meet quality standards. 9. Reporting of data collection and coordinating with mold techs or maintenance for machine errors. 10. Separate parts from runners by visually examining for: flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, flash, etc. As needed, trim and clip excess plastic from parts. 11. Pick up bins of parts from the shelves under the injection molding machines. 12. Provide relief for coworkers' breaks as required by the lead or supervisor. 13. Package parts in bags, totes, or boxes as applicable (plant-specific). 14. Complete paperwork accurately that is acceptable under GMP standards. 15. Be flexible and act in a manner that promotes teamwork. 16. Operators also pack and pull samples for customers/QC. Operators may also assist with training other employees. The operator reports directly to the Lead Operators, who report to the shift supervisor. 17. Other duties as assigned needed to help drive our Vision, Mission, and Values.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma for a candidate who can demonstrate the combination of experience, training, and education to be capable of successfully fulfilling all duties and responsibilities of the position

EXPERIENCE

• Must be 18 years of age
• No experience necessary

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to do repetitive work
• Ability to read, understand, and follow specification sheets
• Basic mathematical skills to understand tolerances and variation
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Light work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
• Excellent vision & hand-eye coordination
• Extended periods of bending, lifting, standing, and sitting
• Significant use of hands
• Frequently required to lift up to 35 lbs, occasionally up to 50
• Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required, including: o Protective eyewear o Earplugs o Hair net o Protective gowning (lab coat, hood, shoe covers)

• Clean Room setting
• Associate is not subject to noise, vibration, hazards, etc.
