Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members. SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the burn table to process plate materials.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Select correct machine settings for optimal burning, drilling, and processing operations. Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications. Select appropriate material type, stock size and dimensions as required. Transfer data onto materials. Keep a clean, organized and safe work area. Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.
REQUIREMENTS
Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings, symbols, and notes. Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16". Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time. Possess attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic. Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers. Experience with CNC machines is preferred. Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
