Machine Operator - Apprentice

Maple Press is seeking a motivated and dependable Offset Web Pressman Apprentice to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the manufacturing industry while learning from experienced press operators. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position , with required training on 1st shift based on skill level and experience.

PayScale:

$20.51 hourly with incremental raises based on performance and mastery of skills

Shift Differential:

Employees working 2nd shift receive an additional $0.75 per hour .

Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•3:00 PM What You'll Learn & Do As an Offset Web Pressman Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced press operators and develop the skills needed to operate and maintain offset web printing equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with routine press operations through manual and machine operator tasks Learn setup, maintenance, and operation of offset web presses Focus on quality, accuracy, and production goals Assist with running jobs and staging materials for upcoming production Ensure presses are properly supplied prior to print production Participate in weekly preventive maintenance activities Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to perform basic math functions and accurately measure Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Reliable attendance and positive work ethic Why Join Maple Press?
