Order Filler

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Perform daily warehouse functions in the department including picking, cutting, re-spooling and packing wire / cable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and set-up wire/cable onto machines Cut / re-spool wire/cable per customer specifications Follow all work procedures for pulling material, cutting of cable, and in-process inspections Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader Provide hands on job training to coworkers as assigned Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

REQUIREMENTS

Carefully read and interpret documents such as: work orders, wire and cable specifications and procedures to ensure order is completed correctly. Perform basic math functions - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
