High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Computer skills Materials handling Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Lean manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician I works onsite in Providence, RI to support medical device manufacturing by performing mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, inspections, and documentation activities in a regulated environment. This entry level role works closely with Manufacturing Engineers and senior technicians to ensure products are built accurately, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Duties Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assembly tasks following verbal and written work instructions Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO requirements Perform visual, in-process, and final inspections with guidance from senior staff Assist with maintaining operating records, test results, and medical device assembly documentation Update and maintain bills of material and other manufacturing documentation as required Contribute to inventory control and material handling procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and device quality Escalate issues and concerns to Team Leads or Supervisors as appropriate Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support lean manufacturing processes Experience High school diploma or equivalent 0-1 year of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience (or equivalent combination of education and training) Basic knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, and equipment Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity Ability to multitask and perform a wide range of activities Ability to solder or willingness to learn Ability to work onsite in Providence, RI in a manufacturing environment (office based role) Work is performed onsite in a manufacturing setting and requires independent mobility while operating relevant equipment May require protective clothing, including gloves and/or eyewear, depending on the controlled manufacturing environment Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10-30 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance #CNX100
