SMT Operator Summit Careers Inc - 4.3 Warwick, RI Job Details Full-time $28 - $30 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Automated optical inspection Desktop applications Pick & place devices Typing Surface mount technology Full Job Description Members of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator group are responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under guidance of the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Setup of SMT and related equipment Read and understand process documentation Produce and submit 1st piece for approval Operate process equipment effectively to produce consistent high quality Inspect own work, detect defect trends and maintain high quality levels Hand placement of components Maintenance of SMT and related equipment Complete maintenance and process documentation Work closely with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues
Qualifications:
Must be computer literate, able to type and comfortable working with menu driven equipment software Capable of working on your feet throughout the day Capable of completing assignments with minimum guidance Dependable and efficient Knowledge of
J-STD/IPC
standards Knowledge of component identification
Experience:
2+ years SMT, preferably with MyData equipment. Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications. Apply with us using your most updated resume!
