Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Metal Saw Operator/Welding Robot Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating metal cutting saws and robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise will contribute to efficient fabrication processes, ensuring precision and safety at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in metal fabrication. Responsibilities Operate manual and automated metal saws to accurately cut tubuing and other miscellaneous metals. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine cutting and welding specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Follow safety protocols related to construction site practices, ASME codes & standards, and welding procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with fabrication tasks such as assembly, soldering, mechanical knowledge applications, and working with sheet metal or pipe components. Skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Experience operating cranes and forklifts Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work. Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as ASME codes & standards is a plus. Mechanical knowledge of machinery maintenance including machining tasks is advantageous.
